Call for Nominees: NCNPC Board of Directors Positions-President-elect and Treasurer

Elections for Board of Directors positions will take place in May as required by NCNPC Bylaws for the positions of President-elect and Treasurer. We will be accepting nominations through April 30, 2020. If you or someone you know is qualified and interested, please send a paragraph outlining your qualifications and reasons you would like to be considered and for which position to ncnpcoaltion@gmail.com.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • An officer of the NCNPC must be a current member of NCNPC; licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Colorado and serving on the Board of Directors.  
  • The term of office shall be two years for all NCNPC officers.
  • Officers shall be installed by May 31st.

Duties:

President-elect:

  • Learns the role of the President.
  •  Assumes the role of the President at the expiration of the President’s term (May 2022).
  • Assist in the development of goals, strategic plans, objectives, and budget.
  • Consults with the President throughout the term of office to provide for continuity and smooth transition of coalition leadership. 
  • Presides over meetings in the absence of the President. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President.  

 Treasurer:

  • The treasurer keeps all financial records and pays all obligations of the NCNPC.
  • Submits a Treasurer’s report at each regularly scheduled meeting of the NCNPC. 
  • Prepares a quarterly summary report of all NCNPC monies and files this report with the NCNPC office.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President.
