Tenley Roeder Awarded 2019 AANP State Award for Excellence!

Tenley has been an active nurse leader in Northern Colorado for years as both a clinician and educator. She served as a long time Board Member (President, past President, and Meeting Coordinator) for the Northern Colorado Nurse Practitioner Coalition and has precepted countless students over the years.
Tenley holds certifications in Family, Acute, and Psych. In 2017, to help address the immense need for mental health services, she founded Happy Daisy, a comprehensive mental health clinic with 2 PMHNPs, a psychiatrist, a counsellor, and dietician.
The NP State Award for Excellence, founded in 1991 by the PR Committee of the AANP Board of Directors, recognizes an individual nurse practitioner (NP) in a state who demonstrates excellence in clinical practice.
The NP State Award for Excellence is given annually to an individual NP in each state who has demonstrated excellence in NP clinical practice.
